Payment is required in advance for any research and the charge is £30.00 per hour, and includes VAT.
What if we don't find anything?
Although every effort will be made to find some information for you, records may not always survive for particular topics. As we will still have spent time looking for information, the charge will be implemented even when no information is found.
Online payments
Payments are collected through the Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums' Shop. Please select the number of hours you would like to pay for (one, two or three). Please have your card details ready BEFORE you submit your application. NOTE: We accept most VISA, debit card and PayPal payments but not American Express.
