About

Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Easter holidays to create springtime crafts.

Tuesday 15 April: Use colourful card to create a sculpture of an Easter egg hiding in the grass. Your decoration will be 3-D and can be used as a beautiful Easter centrepiece.

Thursday 17 April: Use a paper plate and card to create a basket of spring flowers. Your decoration can be propped up on a shelf or hung on a wall.

Tuesday 22 April: Use colourful card to create a 3-D vase of flowers. Display your beautiful creation on a shelf or windowsill.

Thursday 24 April: Use corrugated card and paper to create a fun headband or crown. Decorate with flowers or any colourful design you like.

This event is part of our Ways to Play programme - free and low cost events across Tyneside at your favourite family destinations during school holidays.

Ways to Play is sponsored by Tyne and Wear Metro.

Make your ‘Ways to Play’ adventure a great value day out by travelling to our venues by the Metro and/or Shields Ferry. Up to three children aged 11 and under can travel for free on the Metro and the Shields Ferry with a fare-paying adult. Metro is the convenient, fast and frequent way to get to your favourite attractions and now it’s even more affordable.
