Join us for a monthly Saturday art class for 7-12 year olds.
At each session you'll be guided by a professional artist to discover a different art technique, such as watercolours, ceramics, mixed media, drawing and more.
The Wild Woods
20 April 2024
A step-by-step approach of depicting trees, using watercolours. We'll use washes to start with, and end by using detailed techniques.
Pen and Ink
18 May 2024
Working from the pictures of animals by Thomas Bewick, we shall use traditional nib pens to create an ink drawing , with the possibility of finishing with watercolour washes.
A Mexican Landscape
15 June 2024
With acrylics we shall create a Mexican Landscape, using imagination and images from other artists.
Our artist has extensive experience of working with Neurodivergent young people, including those with SEND. These sessions will be designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all.
