About
The sensory space is a quiet room where you can relax, play and explore.
All are welcome here whether you want to relax, regulate, engage the senses, stim or simply explore a creative environment.
Some of the things you'll find in the sensory space are:
- Foam flooring with cosy blankets
- Beanbags
- Black out tent with ambient lighting
- Mood lit freestanding shapes
- Freestanding sensory light with star design
- Fidget toys
- Foam mirrors
- Floaty scarves
- Textured stepping stones
- Sofas
- Plenty of empty floor space to move around.
The sensory space has:
- Step free access
- Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities nearby
- No music
- Overhead lighting limited to one area of the room which can be switched off
- Parking immediately in front of the gallery with three blue badge parking spaces - one outside the gallery and two on the driveway at the side of the gallery.
