About

This exhibition has been created by the Carers Cultural Adventures (CCA) who meet weekly at the Shipley Art Gallery to explore creative responses to temporary exhibitions, collections, and cultural themes.

The CCA have enjoyed creative challenges working independently and collectively to find personal, often autobiographical, artistic ways of reflecting and communicating with each other, and now you as their audience.

The creative work of the group is supported, nudged, and shaped by working closely with a number of visual artists who are skilled and experienced in delivering participatory practice.

The CCA work in partnership with Equal Arts, an arts organisation working to promote creative ageing, combat loneliness and isolation, and improve the wellbeing of older people.
